When winter weather lures people indoors and school vacations and national holidays present extra time for creative projects, students are encouraged to work on their entries for the 2013 LEGO Contest. This event is open to the public and will be held 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday March 2 at Willard Hall, located behind and beneath St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street in Chester, VT. The pre-registration deadline is February 26.

Secretary of State Jim Condos is pleased to announce the release of the 2013 Help America Vote Act's (HAVA) Polling Place Accessibility Grant program. These grants must be used to help ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to polling places, and that they may vote privately and independently. Applications will be considered from both municipalities and schools that serve as polling places.
