Secretary of State Jim Condos announced today that the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration has made available online records documenting this contentious debate in 1968.

On Saturday, May 18th, forester Irwin Post, will lead a walk on his woodlot, exploring some of the many options landowners have in managing their forestland. The walk is sponsored by the Chester Conservation Committee and will take place at 1998 Trebo Rd, Chester, Vt., from 9-11 a.m. The walk is free of charge.

Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos was invited by President Obama to the White House on April 18, 2013 for an official ceremony marking Greece's independence in 1821. As a Greek-American, Secretary Condos attended the ceremony with other elected federal, state, and local officials. Speakers were President Obama, Vice President Biden, and Greek Archbishop Demetrios.

Springfield (VT) Community Chorus, in its third season with Ken Olsson, is very pleased to announce that it has been selected to receive a grant making it so the orchestra for this concert will have been funded in part by a generous grant from the Choral Arts Foundation of the Upper Valley. We are very thankful for this grant as the chorus is performing Mozart's "Requiem " and performing with an orchestra will greatly enhance the elements of our performances.

The Pampered Chef is coming to St. Luke's again on Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m., in Willard Hall at St. Luke's on Main Street in Chester. Amaret Johnson will be joining us for a fun-filled afternoon, including a cooking show featuring special desserts you can make at home as well as games and prizes.
