St. Luke's Christmas Tea will be held on Saturday December 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Willard Hall at St. Luke's at 313 Main Street in Chester. This annual fundraising event is looked forward to with a great deal of anticipation by friends, neighbors and visitors to the Chester community, not only because of the delicious and satisfying "Tea Fare" being offered but for the warm fellowship those attending experience on this special day.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street in Chester will present its next DVD film is "Akeelah & the Bee." This free viewing will be shown on Saturday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Willard Hall. The Nature Museum in Grafton, VT offers the Mighty Acorns Club, a pre-school program designed for young explorers to discover the wonders of nature. This club for budding naturalists aged 3-5 meets on the third Thursday of every month of the school year. An interactive program on winter hibernation will take place on Thursday, November 17 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Nature Museum.

Here is the latest from CCC: November 1, 2016 meeting notes listed below. Thanks to the efforts of all, there has already been significant progress on the items discussed at the meeting. To find out first hand what is happening and not wait until the next notes are published, come to the December CCC meeting. Save the date - the next CCC meeting is December 6, 2016 at 7:00 pm.
