For the fourth year in a row, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce has named the annual Putney Craft Tour as a Top Ten Winter Event (2017/18). The tour has also been approved as a Vermont Arts Council 2017 event. Also of note, the tour is the oldest continuing craft studio tour in North America.

Black River Action Team's 18th Annual RiverSweep

From tires to tin cans, flip flops to fast food cups, the Black River Action Team hauled it all. Recently the group conducted their 18th Annual RiverSweep, a large-scale cleanup of the bed and banks of the Black River and areas that lead to the water. Whether diving for tires mid-stream or wrangling weed-bound junk on shore, the intrepid BRATs kept bringing the action.

The Nature Museum Invites Preschoolers to join The Mighty Acorns Club

GRAFTON, VT - The Nature Museum invites preschoolers to join the Mighty Acorns Club. Every month throughout the school year, our environmental educator will take young adventurers on a voyage of discovery. From September to June on the second Friday of each month, fun activities for budding naturalists will take place in the Museum's interactive indoor space as well in its wildlife garden, woods, fields, and pond.
