Preschooler Programs At The Nature Museum

posted Tuesday, June 19, 2012

Parents of preschoolers - join The Nature Museum on Thursday for our last Mighty Acorns program of this school year. If you're planning to come, please let us know at www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fnaturemuseumatgrafton.intuitwebsites.com%2FRegister-for-Mighty-Acorns.html&h=HAQH1ls6w. This week's Mighty Acorns theme is Pond Ponderings.

Leap and splash your way into a morning of learning. Through play acting and games, we will explore the wildlife that calls the pond home. With the help of nets and buckets, students will look for pond critters, get their hands wet, and have a wild time. Be ready for an adventure filled with wonder and water!

The Mighty Acorns Preschool Explorers Club offers programming for preschoolers on the third Thursday of each month. Programs are for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers. They are free to Museum members and cost $7 per child for non-members. Parents and guardians attend at no additional charge.

These programs often fill up - make sure to save your space! Please register online at www.nature-museum.org/Register-for-Mighty-Acorns.html. Even if you are a Museum member and will attend for free, we need to know if you're coming so that we can be sure to have enough equipment and craft supplies.

There will be no Mighty Acorns programs in July or August, but we will offer two preschool camps in August. Sign up now at naturemuseumatgrafton.intuitwebsites.com/Camps.html. Space is limited!
