Joe Citro's Local Haunts - Sunday, October 31

posted Friday, October 22, 2021

Sunday. October 31, 7pm
First Universalist Parish
211 North St, VT 103
Chester's Stone Village

Sponsored by Chester's Blair Books, former Chesterite Joe Citro will speak at the First Universalist Parish of Chester in Chester's Stone Village at 7pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021

Citro, Vermont's Curator of the Curious, was inspired by his hometown of Chester. His Halloween reading and discussion will include local tales that inspired his fiction as he reads selections from his novels, such as "Lake Monsters," "Deus-X: The Reality Conspiracy," and a collection of short fiction, "Not Yet Dead". He will take listeners through the dark, sometimes disturbing, and often sinister landscape traditionally portrayed with sunny skies above quaint villages.

A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.

The program is free and open to the public. This presentation will not be available by Zoom. Social distancing will be observed and masks required.
