First Thursday Chester Rotary: Tom Bock Shares News from the Vermont Statehouse

Tom Bock, Vermont state representative from the Windsor 3-1 District, which includes Chester, Andover, Baltimore and North Springfield will be the First Thursday Chester Rotary speaker on December 7, 2017. The event will start at 5:15 and take place at the Fullerton Inn. Representative Bock will transport attendees to the VT capitol in Montpelier and talk about the past legislative session, upcoming initiatives, budget issues and regulatory mandates placed on local governments.

Tom is a member of the House Committee on Agriculture and Forestry and he co-sponsored thirty-three bills and resolutions during his freshman year as a legislator.

Tom was born and raised in Sauk Rapids, a small rural town in Minnesota. He attended St. Cloud University where he earned a BA in political science. He moved to Chester in 1971 and became vice president of Readex Microprint/Newsbank and subsequently owned and operated Vermont T's.
