Chester Conservation Committee Meeting Tuesday, Sept. 6

The Chester Conservation Committee will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 7:00 pm at the Chester-Andover Elementary School.

Topics for discussion include:

Final preparation for our booth at the Chester Fall Festival

The focus at the CCC Booth will be our Trails. We will have the big trail maps displayed and copies of the Trails Brochure available. Nena will check with Gary regarding a Disc Golf piece. An activity using the Tree Cookies is also in the works. Volunteers are needed to be at the booth to explain the CCC Mission and answer questions about the trails, current and future.

Here is the schedule. Please sign up for a time you can help out. Two people during each time slot would be great.

Saturday, September 17:

  • 9:30-12:00, set up and coverage, Nena and David
  • 12:00-2:00
  • 2:00-4:00, Nena

Sunday, September 18:

  • 10:00-12:00, Nena
  • 12:00-2:00
  • 2:00-4:00, Nena

A review of the recently completed town tree inventory and related data The latest regarding a footbridge to access the proposed Brookside Trail Scheduling a date to make more progress mapping out the Butternut Hill Trail Report on the Williams River Water Quality testing done this summer.
