A new exhibit featuring the prints of Chester artist Lew Watters will be opening at Chester's Whiting Library on Main Street in Chester, Vermont, during the months of September and October. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, September 7 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The show titled, 'Lew Watters in Print,' will feature large offset printed editions of Chester and the Stone Village where Watters has lived for the past 42 years with his wife Bonnie. Also featured will be never before seen hand struck letterpress prints of artwork used in family birth announcements and greeting cards, including examples of the process used to create a woodblock print.

Other works will include hand printed doll faces and designs once used to promote his wife's craft business, Bonnie's Bundles Dolls. The show will run from September 2 through October 28 and is open to the public.
