The recent Color Gauntlet fundraising 5K fun-run hosted by the Springfield, VT Wrestling Team was a resounding success. with a final tally of just over $3,000 raised for the team's goal of buying new mats. More than 70 people took part in the event, walking and running along the Toonerville Trail recreation path in Springfield, getting blasted with biodegradeable colored powder at "color stations." Event organizers Angela Ferland, Ruth Congdon, and Kelly Stettner are thrilled with the turnout and the support from area businesses.
