Next Chester Conservation Committee Meeting On March 13

posted Thursday, March 8, 2012

Hello Everyone!

Spring is just around the corner which means Green Up Day will be here before we know it!

This year, Gov. Peter Shumlin and the VT. Irene Recovery Office has asked Green Up Vermont to partner with them in ongoing spring and summer Irene recovery projects. The effort will kick off with Green Up Day at the local level.

Please join us for our regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday Mar. 13 at 7:00 pm at the Chester Andover Elementary School. We will begin planning for Green Up Day and Irene Recovery projects and welcome your input. If you know of specific recovery projects in the Chester area, please pass them along.

We'll also set a date for annual trail maintenance at the Lost Mine and Green Mountain High School trails and discuss how best to choose a recipient for a scholarship to the Kehoe Green Mountain Conservation Camp in Castleton.

Hope to see you there!

Mary Beth Adler
