Wild Walkers: Wilderness: A Way of Life Vacation Camp
The Nature Museum at Grafton

The Nature Museum is thrilled to announce the fifth gathering of Wild Walkers, a partnership program with the Vermont Wilderness School for kids ages 10 to 14. Campers will explore the time of "pre-contact" and learn how to live like Native Americans did over 300 years ago. The Wild Walkers will explore their senses while in nature by foraging, fire-making, shelter-building, and more. We will show respect to the earth by taking only what we can use. This camp day will activate the body and engage the mind through wilderness awareness. Preregistration is required. www.nature-museum.org

Brave Bears: Free Spirits Vacation Camp

Brave Bears is The Nature Museum's series of natural science programs geared for youth ages 6 to 9. We will become one with nature by learning how the Native Americans lived through games, exploration, and activities. We will hike into the woods, investigating the area surrounding The Nature Museum, the nearby Grafton pond, and a local stream. At the end of the day we will gather tinder, light a fire, roast some marshmallows and tell stories. What will your Brave Bear discover as they become keen for the green, one with nature, and part of the caring clan? Preregistration is required. www.nature-museum.org
