Peny Pumpkin

Penny Pumpkin, one of Bonnie Watters' favorite motif dolls is ready to welcome visitors to the Fall Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5 from 10 am to 5 pm at her home and gallery in Chester's historic Stone Village.

Penny reminds you that pumpkins will not lead the way, but rather those familiar yellow way-finder signs with directional arrows and #60 will bring you right to her open studio where you will meet her brothers and sisters of cloth. The doll maker loves to share her doll stories and process with visitors, and offers fun activities for children and yummy treats for everyone.

Five artists make up a group that includes a photographer, wood turner, jeweler and a painter who have worked together and will be highlighted on a story board and on a loop map available at Vermont Welcome Centers, area businesses and on the Special Events page at www.bonniesbundlesdolls.com.

Come celebrate the changing of the colors and seasons with Penny Pumkin, an icon, and Bonnie, the Vermont doll maker.
