St. Luke's 76th Annual August Supper

posted Thursday, July 24, 2014

Imagine the Splendor!

You are outside, under a tent, sitting with friends and family and enjoying a true banquet -- roast beef, ham and turkey, four cold soups, potato salad, coleslaw, broccoli salad, pasta and jellied salads, tossed and fruit salads and our famous tea/lemonade blend with desserts you will not believe like chocolate amaretto cheesecake.

St. Luke's has perfected its August Supper on the Lawn. It is the 76th year! Still a bargain considering the offerings: $12 per adult and $6 for children 6-10, little ones free. So on Saturday, August second, from 5 to 7 come enjoy continuous eating at St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street, Chester, VT 05143. To reserve a seat at a particular time call the Harrisons at 802.875.2784.

All during the dinner hours there will be a silent auction with wonderful gift certificates and items on which you can bid. Proceeds of this and the dinner support the work of the church.
