Last Opportunity To Voice Opinions About The Biomass Plant In North Springfield, Feb. 28

posted Tuesday, February 28, 2012

As you all know, I'm facebook-less, so perhaps you all know about this already, but just in case ...

Tuesday, Feb. 28th 7:00 pm at the High School --- our LAST opportunity to voice our opinions about the Biomass Plant going up in North Springfield and our last chance to potentially STOP it!

It's not just North Springfield that will be affected ... numerous trucks running through Chester and Springfield, airborne pollutants everywhere as well!

The developers claim it will create lots of jobs in the area, but in actuality, most builders will come from Massachusetts and ONLY 28 PERMANENT jobs will come out of this anyway. 28!

Other areas with biomass have high rates of asthma and other respiratory illnesses. Plus there are huge environmental consequences.

I'll be there with the family on Tuesday when we can voice our concerns and potentially stop this. Ludlow successfully turned a biomass plant down -- we can too!
