Chester Conservation Committee Sponsoring Forest Pest Program

The Chester Conservation Committee is sponsoring a program titled "Preparing for the Emerald Ash Borer: Mitigating the Impacts of the Green Menace".

The program will be presented by Jim Esden, Forester, Vt. Dept. of Forest, Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 7:00 P.M. at the First Universalist Parish (The Stone Church), Rte. 103 (North St.), Chester, VT.

No Charge/Donations Accepted.

Jim will give an overview of the current status of EAB in surrounding states and how to go about preparing an EAB Preparedness and Response Plan. He will discuss anticipated costs, public concerns, and environmental impacts. Please join us to hear more about this important topic!
