St. Luke's Tag Sale on the Green... Make That Screen!

posted Friday, September 13, 2013

Make that Screen! This year St. Luke's Church on Main Street in Chester will have a presence at the Fall Festival on the Green, but the format for showing and selling goods is changed.

St. Luke's Tag Sale on the Green

Notice this lovely antique rocking chair. It is one of several items that have been posted on Craig's List and on the church website to sell. Instead of the lawn being covered with parishioners' 'treasures,' real treasures are being offered on line for sale to benefit the church. Several items have already been sold.

The red doors of the church will be open with parishioners there to share their lovely sanctuary and freshly painted Willard Hall. Free coffee and popcorn will be offered. The highlight of the morning will be a visual scavenger hunt at the church for kids from 10 a.m. to noon. No fee, just fun, and open to the public. Those who complete the hunt successfully will be entered into a drawing for a LEGO kit prize. Details of these offerings are on the church website www.stlukesepiscopalvt.org under Special Events.

Take a break and join the fun on Saturday, September 21st.
