posted Thursday, September 28, 2017

Christmas Under the Tent
at The Chester Andover Family Center
908 VT Route 103 South
Chester, Vermont 05143

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 10am-3pm, Columbus Weekend, the Chester Andover Family Center will hold a HUGE Christmas Under the Tent sale. Holiday items for your decorating, entertaining and gift giving needs will be available. We will have toys, gifts, items for your holiday table, artificial trees, Christmas Cards and decorations galore. Everything under the tent will be priced from $1-$20.

We will also be offering our famous bake sale. If you have enjoyed our Election Day goodies, you will love our Christmas Under the Tent selection. Also featured will be a raffle for a hand-made braided rug.

To entertain the children while Moms and Dads are shopping, we will have a face painting and reading area with free books.

From 11:30-1:30 we will be serving a free hot dog lunch to thank CAFC customers, volunteers and Christmas Under the Tent Shoppers.

The Family Center is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization. In addition to our Thrift Store and Food Shelf, we provide financial assistance for residents struggling to make ends meet. Shopping with us on October 7, will help us raise funds to support CAFC programs that contribute to the well-being of our community.

Please join us Saturday, October 7 from 10-3, under the tent at the CAFC, for this special fundraiser and shopping event.

The Mighty Acorns Club provides creative, exploratory preschool programs which celebrate curiosity and encourage a love and respect for the natural world. You and your young nature-lover will investigate Abenaki artifacts, hear the Abenaki story of creation, and go on a scavenger hunt outdoors to test observation skills in nature.
