St. Luke's Open Hymn Sing, January 20

posted Tuesday, January 8, 2013

Warm up a cold winter's day with a rousing Hymn Sing at St. Luke's Church, 313 Main Street, Chester, VT, on Sunday, January 20 from 4-5 PM. Individuals and families will join other enthusiasts to sing their favorite hymns.

Here's how it will work.

Upon entering the church, participants will take five slips of paper and a pencil. They'll write down the name and number of up to five chosen hymns and deposit them in a basket. Selections will be picked at random, and singers will be accompanied by Church Organist and Choir Director Martha Stretton.

Anyone who loves hymns and singing is invited to this free program.
