Join John Hadden At VTica For An Afternoon Of Poetry, June 3rd

Join John Hadden, Artistic Director of Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY at VTica for an afternoon of poetry on Sunday, June 3rd at 4pm.

John will be reading love poems from Shakespeare, Marvell, Beckett, Blake, Byron, Coleridge, Emerson, Dickinson, Marge Piercy and EE Cummings. The reading will be laced with plenty of informal talk.

John Hadden was a founding member and Associate Artistic Director of Shakespeare & Co and artistic director/co-founder of Counterpoint Theater, Boston. During his long stint with S&Co, his roles included Romeo, Hamlet, Iago, Richard II, Leontes, and the Fool; other acting included Seagull, USSR; Othello, Alliance; Scrooge, Portland Stage and various roles on film, radio and TV.

John Hadden, Artistic Director of the Theater Company at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY, has divided his thirty-year career between Shakespeare and original work. Most recent exceptions: Hadrian VII; The Madwoman of Chaillot; The Night of the Iguana at Hubbard Hall. Most recent writing: The Quincy and Antoinette Kraczlic Variety Show, published online at The Good Ear Review. He lives in Landgrove, VT and is a member of the VT Arts Council roster of teaching artists.
