Traditional Seder Meal at St. Luke's Church - March 28

posted Friday, March 16, 2018

St. Luke's Church, 313 Main Street in Chester, will celebrate a traditional Seder Meal on Wednesday evening, March 28 at 6:00 p.m. in Willard Hall. The text for the evening, the "Haggadah," includes songs, readings, and responses, along with explanations of the various symbolic foods that will be used to tell the Exodus story. Following will be the symbolic meal of roast lamb and goat, chicken, roasted potatoes, vegetables, tossed salad and macaroons and meringue cookies. The Haumanns of Misty Mountain Farm will again be providing the delicious lamb and goat. Belinda Whipple Worth will lead the Seder and Anne Goodreau will accompany us on the piano with the Haggadah music.

Please come and experience this ancient tradition with us and tell your friends about what a great experience for families and children.

Reservations may be made through the Watters at (802) 875-2114. A freewill offering will support Kids4Peace. Read more on the church website www.stlukesepiscopalvt.org.
