posted Monday, September 26, 2016

ANIMAL BLESSING: St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street in Chester will offer two opportunities to bring your animals for a special blessing on the side lawn at St. Luke's: Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 am or on Sunday, October 2 at 4:00 pm.

Open to the community, all animals and their human companions are invited to participate in this service of giving thanks for the special role pets and animals play in our daily lives. Each animal will be blessed by the priest and receive a Saint Francis medallion. In the event of rain, the blessing will be held in Willard Hall.
