Chester Townscapes Walking Tour Brochure of Chester

posted Thursday, September 3, 2015

Chester Townscape's new self-guided walking-tour brochure is attracting the interest of visitors from far and near to Chester. Here Madeleine and Bob Boslet of Callawassie Island, SC, who are visiting friends in town, review architectural details featured at the Emery Bolles house, one of the historic buildings described in the brochure entitled "Take A Walk Along Main Street in Historic Chester Village."

The brochure, published by Chester Townscape, describes 16 buildings important in Chester history and central to the Main Street Village Green area.

Copies of the tour, first distributed earlier this summer, have been enthusiastically received, and the brochure is already in its second printing. A great resource to attract visitors and entertain guests, it is available free at local stores, restaurants, and inns. Requests for additional map copies may be made by contacting Nancy Chute at [email protected] or 802-875-8971.
