Bunny's Girls Auction to Benefit Local Charity

Bunny's Girls Auction to Benefit Local Charity

posted Friday, June 19, 2015

The late Francess Carpenter, affectionately known as Bunny, died July 3, 2011. She sewed for Bonnie's Bundles Dolls for thirty-five years. During those years I gifted Bunny with several of her favorite dolls for which she stitched their sweet outfits. They remained company for Barney, her husband, until his death on March 11 of this year. At that time, Bunny's girls came back to me.

I shared with the family that I would put three of the dolls in a silent auction both online and here at our gallery and the proceeds would benefit the Springfield Humane Society. The winners will be known on July 4th. These treasures are in perfect condition and respectively 32, 31 and 30 years old. We invite you to come by during our open hours or visit www.bonniesbundlesdolls.com to make a bid on Kimberly, Susannah and Deborah.

Heidi, a fourth doll, is being gifted to the Springfield Adult Care program, where she will meet her sister, Wendy, once a friend of the late Mary Milanesi who shared her doll with her friends there.
