The Black River Action Team (BRAT) Storm Water Expo Saturday, April 18

The Black River Action Team (BRAT), a grassroots volunteer river cleanup group based in Southeastern Vermont, is excited to invite everyone to the Storm Water Expo on Saturday, April 18th.

Anyone in the Twin State area who deals with rain, snow, or ice is invited -- private landowners, landscape architects, town employees, business owners.

Please come to the Expo for information, demonstrations, networking, and much more. Learn about the projects, partners, and products that are available to help rainfall and snow-melt slow down, spread out, and soak in.

Watch water at work on the dynamic stream table, get introduced to compost socks, and learn about a number of programs that can help you manage rain runoff and snow-melt on your property.

When: Saturday, April 18th from 9AM till 12NOON

Where: Health Care & Rehabilitation Services (HCRS), 390 Route 106 (River St), Springfield, VT

What: A $15 registration fee covers all Expo materials, refreshments, and a chance at the door prize. Pre-registration ensures your spot; the check can be made out to "ONRCD" and mailed to Ottauquechee Natural Resources Conservation District (shortened to "ONRCD" is fine), 28 Farmvu Dr, White River Jct VT 05001 (please note "BRAT" on the check).
