St. Luke's Annual Blessing of the Pets

St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street in Chester will offer the Celebration of St. Francis and Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 4th, beginning at 10 a.m. on the front lawn of the church.

Come rain or shine to celebrate your love for your pets, both living and departed. The Rev. Thad Bennett, St. Luke's Interim Rector, will offer the blessings dogs, cats, all are welcome. There will be treats for pets, and their owners and your pet will receive a St. Francis Medal to wear proudly. The event is free, just like God's love. Some parking in front on Main Street, with additional parking behind the church.
