When calling 911 for medical help you want an ambulance to arrive quickly with qualified emergency medical providers. Chester Ambulance Service (CAS) has provided this for many years with local friendly faces, but we are now looking for more people to help us continue these life-saving services.

No need for experience, we will train and for those not wanting medical licensure, we are now accepting drivers also.

To become either an ambulance driver or emergency medical provider, you must be at least 18 years of age, be physically fit, have the ability to remain calm in emergencies and be reliable. Ambulance drivers need to hold a valid driver's license with a good record. You will be trained in CPR and be required to assist the medical crews as requested. For those interested in becoming emergency medical providers, entry level Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses are offered in the area and we will assist with finding the right one for you.

CAS especially needs drivers and emergency medical personnel who have the ability to be on-call from (6 PM to 6 AM) approximately two times a week or those who may be regularly available during daytime hours Monday thru Friday.

Members of CAS are local people from all walks of life who are ready to help their neighbors at any time. If you would like to be part of this dedicated team, please contact Dan Cook at (802) 875-3134 and leave a message or [email protected].
