Having More Fun And Getting Better Pictures With Your Digital SLR Camera

posted Friday, September 28, 2012

Chester photographer Lew Watters is again teaching a fun and informative class this fall at the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield beginning October 9.

Students who have taken this class come away with a knowledge and familiarity using some of the advanced features found on their digital SLR camera.

The highlight of the class is a field trip to Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, NH where students can apply the simple techniques for controlling light: aperture settings; color balance; ISO light sensitivity; and bracketing.

A basic familiarity and comfort with computers is a prerequisite.

The RVTC website below has compete details and registration forms, and the park website shows the possibilities.
