The Springfield, VT wrestling team is working hard to raise $10,000 for new wrestling mats. About half-way there already with monies raised from spaghetti suppers and tournament fees, the team is hosting a new kind of fundraiser this summer: The Color Gauntlet. A roughly 5K untimed round-trip fun-run or walk, the Gauntlet takes place on Saturday, August 29th on the Toonerville Trail recreation path in Springfield, parallel with the Black River on one side and Clinton St (Rte 11) on the other. |
