Chester Conservation Committee Bridge Building Project

The Chester Conservation Committee (CCC) is seeking volunteers to assist in the building of three new wooden footbridges on the Green Mountain Union HS Nature Trail on Saturday, July 15th starting at 8:30am.

The Chester Rotary Club is pleased to announce that on Thursday, July 6th, Walter Meyer from Mary Meyer Manufacturing Company will be the guest speaker at the Fullerton Inn. The program goes from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar is available.

Summer Unplugged: The Nature Museum Offers Free Events for Kids at Local Libraries

The Nature Museum offers free programs for kids at local libraries in Chester, VT Springfield, VT and Charleston, NH to inspire them to interact with nature and get outside. Each week a Nature Museum educator will engage kids to learn about migration, bugs, trees, predators, thunderstorms and more, along with hands-on activities, plus a craft to take home. All ages are welcome, however the family programs are recommended for children ages 4 and up.
