Today, Secretary of State Jim Condos announced the dates for High School Voter Registration Week. Secretary Condos said, "Vermont's High School Voter Registration Week, June 4-8, was established to encourage Vermont's high schools to register their 18 year olds to vote before they leave school."

Something big is about to happen here. For the last 10 years (with a LOT of help) I have been working to make the Music in the Meadow a really big event. This year is really exciting. Brian Waldo has announced that radio station WWOD Classic Oldies 104.3 & 96.3 will not only be giving us free advertising daily but they will be here from 12-2pm on the 23rd broadcasting live from the meadow.

Secretary of State Jim Condos honored the winners of the 2012 Vermont Secretary of State's Poster and Essay Contest on Tuesday, May 22nd at the State House in Montpelier. As part of the awards celebration, contest winners toured the Vermont State House and the Vermont Historical Society or Supreme Court.

Over 90 adults and young people enjoyed the original creations displayed at the 2012 LEGO Contest organized by St. Luke's Episcopal Church in its Willard Hall on Main Street in Chester on Saturday, April 14. Participating LEGO enthusiasts came from 13 towns in Vermont, two in New Hampshire, and one in New York State.
