Chester Beautification Committee Brings a New Look for Chester

posted Thursday, April 24, 2014
Chester is about to get a spring facelift. It's the first initiative by a new organization: the Chester Beautification Committee. This all-volunteer group, under the auspices of the Chester Economic Development Corporation, has one mission: to enhance the appearance and appeal of Chester for residents, businesses, and visitors. The committee is soliciting contributions to purchase large containers that will be filled with soil and planted with flowers. These planters will be placed in key locations throughout the town center to show that Chester is a thriving and welcoming place to visit, shop, and live. Other seasonal and long-term projects are in the works.
