St. Luke's Invites You To A Seder Meal

posted Sunday, March 13, 2016
St. Luke's Church invites you to participate in a traditional Seder Meal on Wednesday, March 23 in Willard Hall, at 313 Main Street, in Chester, beginning at 6:00 p.m. St. Luke's began holding Seders in 2006, as a way of acknowledging our common Jewish biblical roots. The Seder is a ritual meal that celebrates the Jewish festival of Passover. Christians, whose traditions are rooted in Judaism, share the Passover experience of a people enslaved and then redeemed when God brought them to freedom, to covenant, to a Promised Land. Through the centuries the ritual of the Passover has allowed each generation of Jews to relive their history and make the story its own.
