Chester Conservation Committee Meeting Change of Venue, Date and Time

The first Chester Conservation Committee (CCC) meeting of 2018 will be held at the Fullerton Inn and take place on January 4 at 5:15 pm. CCC member Gary King will be doing a presentation.

Inner Fire Receives Act 250 Approval for Construction of a 12-bed Therapeutic and Community Residence in Brookline, VT

After nearly a year, Inner Fire, Inc. has received an Act 250 development permit that authorizes the construction of a 12-bed therapeutic and community residence for up to 12 adults, an art barn and associated infrastructure. The project will be located on 26 Parker Road, in Brookline, VT.

Nature For Everyone: The Nature Museum Expands Acreage And Accessibility

In southern Vermont, the team at The Nature Museum is working to create one more option for outdoorspeople of all abilities. With the recent addition of 3.5-acre land donation to the Museum's outdoor classroom, plans are underway to create a wheelchair-accessible outdoor experience for visitors of all ages and abilities. This trail will be open to all visitors, and will be used year-round in the Museum's nature programming for adults, families, and children.

Bonnie's Bundles Holiday Sale

For November and December, Bonnie's Bundles Dolls has exhibited at the Whiting Library in Chester. The show features a nearly fifty-year timeline that tells the story of cloth doll artist, Bonnie Watters, having sold nearly 15,000 dolls in 49 years.
