Volunteers Needed

The local watershed group the Southeast VT Watershed Alliance has been monitoring the Williams River for several years. Volunteers are needed to collect water samples. This only happens once every two weeks so is not a big time commitment. The samples get collected in bottles SeVWA provides and they are placed in a cooler at the Shell Station on 103 near the Rockingham exit.

Volunteers will be trained on sample collection and site location, and two are right in Chester. Sampling is done first thing in the morning. The dates are June 30, July 14, July 28 ,Aug 11, Aug 25, Sept 8, and Sept 22.

If anyone could help on any or all of these sampling dates it would be very much appreciated and very good for the Williams River!  Please let me know or better yet contact Laurie directly at  therivermist@hotmail.com  (802-258-1877)
