I was born, raised and educated in Colorado. I attended the Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs CO and have a bachelors degree in history from the University of Colorado, Boulder. My business background and experience included sales, marketing management and public relations for Fortune 500 companies, New England publishers, and start up companies in high technology. I am a recent graduate of the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield, VT Adult Education program in Advanced Graphics with design and publishing experience using state-of-the-art applications including QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, In Design and related Creative Suite applications. I continue to serve as an advisor to the staff. My formal teaching experience includes public junior and senior high school computer lab supervision, staff and student support in a wide variety of computer applications and technologies. Additionally, as a National Park Service Lead Ranger, I was responsible for event publicity at Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, NH. Ranger duties also included preparing and presenting seminars and guided tours for guest educators, museum curators, teachers, students and visitors on the art of sculpture and the Cornish Colony in the Guilded Age. Now retired, I currently serve as the webmaster, newsletter designer, and creator of related printed media for my wife's doll business, Bonnie's Bundles Dolls in Chester Vermont. I am also publicity chairman and webmaster for St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Chester. I offer digital imaging and photography workshops at my home and studio tailored specifically for the novice and new owners of digital cameras. I also teach digital photography and Photoshop fundamentals at the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield, Vermont. My greatest joy now is watching and facilitating my grand children grow up.
I volunteer a lot for worthy organizations like the Vermont Food Bank. They actually let me work with knives.
